About

I'm Aditya Maheshwari.

I lead customer success across Asia Pacific for AppsFlyer. About 40 people, 7 offices, from India to Australia. September 2026 makes it 9 years.

How I got here

Grew up in Jaipur. Electrical engineering at NIT Calicut, a run of growth internships, then sales at AdWyze, a B2B startup. Then a scholarship to the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka, which changed how I think more than any other year.

Bangalore after that, and AppsFlyer since 2017. I went from managing accounts to managing multiple regions, and APAC is about as complex a geography as you get.

What I've learned: almost nobody's career is a straight line. The people who do well are the ones who could think clearly at the two or three moments that mattered.

Why I write

I kept having the same conversation with different people. A CSM who couldn't tell why they'd been passed over. Someone about to accept an offer for the wrong reasons. A team lead who thought being liked was the job.

Answering it once in public beat answering it fifty times in DMs. Now there are about 45,000 of you.

That habit turned into StreetMBA, the business education I wanted at 26 and now write one reading at a time, and the templates and guides I give away.

Away from work

I was 87 kg once. I'm 71 now, and cycling did most of the work. My longest ride is 75 km, on a morning I woke up, rode to Bangalore airport, and rode back.

I read a lot of self help and behavioural economics. I write everything on my computer, including my decisions. I've never carried a diary and a pen in my life. I travel around Southeast Asia more than is reasonable, and I build small tools for problems that annoy me.
